1900s Sun Valley Tumbled Bricks

Antique Ontario-size brown/orange brick with patina. Sourced from three homes built between 1909-1913 in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood.

Most of the bricks from these homes are stamped with the ‘SUN’ manufacturer’s mark. The Sun Valley Brick Company was established in 1908 by the Taylor family — the same owners as of the Don Valley Brickworks and Taylor Paper Mills — and operated in Sun Valley/Crother’s Woods into the 1930s.

Cleaned & palleted, tumbled B-Grade Product.
