Salvaged from the recently demolished Brantford Waterworks pump building (c.1930), this blend is a mix of buff and red bricks that made up the interior wythes of the building.
The Brantford Waterworks facility was expanded to include a state-of-the-art pump building and filter building, using buff bricks in an Art Deco / Modernist style to complement the other older buff brick buildings on the site. These buildings served the community for decades, providing clean and reliable residential water services.

COMING SOON: In collaboration with Ouroboros Deconstruction, we are in the process of deconstructing a 1941 Lytton Park home, built with 15,000+ of Toronto's Standard Brick. Based on our research, the first owner of this home was none other than the ex-Toronto Mayor C. Alfred Maguire (in office 1922-23), and this home was one of the first to be built on this street.
The Standard Brick Company operated from 1911-1962 on Greenwood Ave (across the street from iconic competitor J. Price/Toronto Brick Company. At the time this house was built, Standard was one of 21 brick manufacturers still operating in the city, before the clay beds in the area became depleted. These bricks are a burgundy-red colour and will be well-suited to both new construction and restoration work.

Carefully salvaged in preparation for a full facade rebuild by Arcana Restoration, these late 1800s red clay bricks are filled with personality and texture. The original 1892 Leslieville home had seen multiple layers of paint and cladding, which now give these slightly-tumbled bricks their distinct look. Also available in buff.

Custom Products
In an effort to provide unique interior design and landscape products while also reducing waste from salvage waste and unsold stock, we work with clients to create custom tiles and more — made to order, to your spec.
Cosmic is named for its outer-worldly marbling and is sourced from the former Danforth Baptist Church and Sunday School (originally Chester Baptist Church) in Toronto’s North Riverdale neighbourhood: a 1911 Gothic Revival building that was expanded in 1931 and partially deconstructed in 2025 after over 100 years of serving the Danforth community. We were able to save 25 tons of this special material from ending up in a landfill.
Cut from clinker bricks - known for their distinct irregularity caused when clay bricks are exposed to excessive heat during the firing process in a kiln - this product is very strong and contains a range of colours when cut open. Each brick is unique! Suitable for wall or floor tiles, fireplaces, landscaping, and other residential and commercial projects.

Cut from perfectly-imperfect roofing slate salvaged from a 1920s Forest Hill mansion, we offer custom tile fabrication with pieces cut to your specifications. Green & burgundy colour range with patina.
Dimensions of full tiles vary due to reclaimed nature, pieces are approximately 10” wide with length options 12”, 14”, 18”, and 20”. Depending on available stock and your chosen dimensions, we will determine the most efficient way to make your desired sizing work.

These tiles are cut from 110-year-old pressed clay brick from the historic Don Valley Brickworks, resembling terra cotta ceramics. The bricks were salvaged from demolished commercial buildings in the Junction and the Danforth neighbourhoods of Toronto, and are a robust material with a beautiful natural colour range and marbling. These tiles made to order and are in limited supply due to the brick vintage, and make for an exceptional product in terms of its aesthetic, ties to Toronto history, sustainability, and being locally sourced.

This crushed brick is created from damaged/broken reclaimed bricks from demolition sites – by repurposing them this way, we are keeping valuable materials in circulation and out of landfill. Several colour ranges available, sourced from a variety of sites throughout Ontario.
Crushed brick performs well in landscape features such as pathways and as weed-minimizing ground cover, acting as a functional way to bring warm tones and texture to any landscape. This material compacts well over time while allowing for excellent drainage.
Price is per cubic yard; 1 cubic yard yields approximately 80sf of 4” depth ground cover and weighs approximately 1 ton.
In order to make the most of all of the material we receive from deconstructed buildings, we are pleased to offer gabion baskets are filled with your choice of recycled brick, stone, or concrete materials. Not only are gabion systems a great structural solution for your garden walls, they also can add beautiful texture and colour accents to your design while helping to reduce construction waste.
The brick filling that we offer consists of ultra-tumbled reclaimed brick fragments from demolished historic properties throughout Toronto. By using these recycled materials instead of buying new masonry or stone filler products, these gabion baskets have a significantly lower carbon footprint while also bringing a piece of the city's history into your landscaping.
