Turn of the Century Belgian Floor Tiles
Authentic floor tiles produced by the Belgian manufacturer Louis Escoyez, founded in 1842 in Tertre, Belgium. This design was in circulation by 1900, and continued to be produced under Escoyez’s mark until the 1920s.
These relief-decorated tiles are still very common today in Belgium, in carriage passages, porches, on open terraces and landings, in station buildings, factory halls – but it is extremely rare to find them in Toronto. They are weather-resistant and wear-resistant, and designed to be anti-slip.
Very limited stock available, please inquire. Price is per tile.
